Children's Fashion Trends
Children's Fashion Trends
Children's fashion has changed considerably in modern society. In fact, we only need to go back to the 80s to realise just how much things have changed. During the 1980s, there was really no such thing as children's fashion, in those days children's clothing was simply a matter of practicality: parents dressed their children in clothes that were suitable for play, and which it did not matter too much if they were covered in stains or torn. For example, boy's tracksuits were popular for both genders, and the shell suit took the population by storm.
Nowadays things have changed, and children's fashion is now a multibillion-pound industry. From world-class designers, to offbeat boutiques, it is certainly fair to claim that children are well catered for in terms of fashion.
If you are a new parent, or if you have been too busy to take the issue seriously, then this article is for you. Here, we will discuss some of the hottest trends in children's clothing currently in circulation.

If you are a new parent, or if you have been too busy to take the issue seriously, then this article is for you. Here, we will discuss some of the hottest trends in children's clothing currently in circulation.
Tracksuits
Boys will breathe a huge sigh of relief here; the boy's tracksuit is still a firm favourite amongst fashion gurus. Thanks largely to the popularity of hip-hop and break dancing, the tracksuit is here to stay for a few more seasons yet.
Layered Look
Children's fashion frequently mimics adult fashions, but clothes are embellished with a cutesy edge. Layers are a popular trend at the moment, a trend that has been around for several years now, and will continue to be around for the foreseeable future. A great look for boys is a graphic tee shirt, teemed with a casual shirt, and a hoody, cardigan, blazer, or vest, to complete the look.
Graphic Tees
As they are in adult fashion, graphic tees are extremely fashionable for children too. Children are fortunate in this area as they get away with graphic tees that sport retro cartoon characters, such as Danger Mouse or Thundercats. Choosing graphic tees to wear can be extremely fun, and there is a wide range available for children of all ages. Kids will love these t-shirts, and parents will rejoice because their child looks cute, as well as fashionable.
Ugg-Style Boots for Children
If you are unaware of the current trend for Ugg-style boots, then where have you been? Ugg-style boots are those boots that look rather like snowshoes, but come in a suede material and frequently have a fur lining. They are extremely fashionable in women's clothing, and the same is true for girls.
These are just a few of the latest trends in children's fashion. The fashion industry for children is fantastic because clothes are being designed that are not only fashionable, but age appropriate too. Clothing manufacturers have now realised that clothing does not necessarily need to be overly cute, there were fears that by taking away various cutesy factors, children's clothes would look too old, but this is simply untrue.
Perhaps the greatest change in today's society, in terms of children's fashion, has been the influence of the internet. There are many online retailers that cater specifically to a younger generation, selling high-quality children's wear in many styles, ranging from boys tracksuits, to girls formal dresses.

The Best Wedding Fashion Trends of 2011
Every year there are distinctive trends in wedding fashion and beauty, especially for gowns, custom bridal jewelry, and wedding hairstyles. This year, there are some fantastic trends which any bride can easily adapt to her wedding. Take a look at the best wedding fashion trends of 2011.
Simple But Elegant Wedding Gowns. After many seasons of asymmetry, ruching, ruffles, and outrageously bold embellishments, there is a small trend afoot back towards more simple bridal gowns. These new gowns are symmetrical, made from beautiful silk, and feature perhaps one signature detail like a bow at the waist. It is like a breath of fresh air to step back from gowns which have been increasingly busier in their cuts, silhouettes, and details in recent seasons. While the simple gowns are still outnumbered by the busy ones, they are a lovely new direction. Choose a pared down gown and have fun putting your personal stamp on it with your choice of veil and custom bridal jewelry.
The Return of Sequins. If you are not ready to embrace the simple but elegant trend, you might love the gowns which feature tons of sequins. Sequins have been out of style for so long that they actually feel new and exciting. Designers are using them to create all-over shimmer on head to toe sequined gowns, and also as accents on skirts or bodices. This is a trend that looks to have legs well into 2011 and beyond, judging by the popularity of sequined evening gowns on the celebrities on the red carpet recently.

Fall 2011 Fashion Trends
1. Pop of Color
The 2011 Fall/Winter season brings us a fresh burst of color on what is otherwise known as the season of neutrals. It seems that colors are just not enough during the summer. Hues like neon orange, purple, sky blue and other eye popping tones definitely brings us a warm cheer on a cold day. Color blocking is definitely a great trend to look forward to.
2. Bring on the Texture
Texture also plays a big role this season. Layering your clothes using different textures, such as silk, fur, cotton, leather or even plastic makes one look oh-so chic. If you want to go for a monochromatic look, try using pieces in different textures, such as a burgundy red leather skirt, a cherry red silk blouse and a creamy red cotton blazer. Pair them with solid, neutral colored accessories and you are all set.

TEARS FOR FEARS

FEAR IS A PRISON
